Privacy Policy
ZyroWorx ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

Information We Collect

We do not directly collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Our third-party partners may automatically collect the following non-personal data:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID, app instance ID)
  • Device model, OS version, and language settings
  • IP address (used to estimate country/region only)
  • App usage events and session data
  • Crash reports and performance diagnostics
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties. Data is shared strictly and only with our integrated service providers (Google AdMob, Firebase) for the following limited purposes: analytics, advertising delivery, fraud prevention, and app functionality. No data is shared for any other purpose.

Advertising – Google AdMob

Our apps use Google AdMob to display advertisements, which may include banners, interstitials, rewarded ads, native ads, and app open ads.

Consent & Personalization

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) will prompt you on first launch. Ads will not be personalized unless you explicitly grant consent. Without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by accessing the privacy settings within the app.

Outside these regions, AdMob may serve personalized ads based on your Advertising ID unless you opt out via your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID).

What AdMob may collect

  • Android Advertising ID (resettable)
  • App activity and interaction events
  • Device and network information
  • Approximate location (country/region via IP)

AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Google's ads data safety practices: AdMob Data Safety

Analytics & Crash Reporting – Firebase

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to understand app usage patterns and diagnose crashes.

ServicePurposeData collected
Firebase AnalyticsUsage insightsApp events, session duration, device info, anonymous IDs
Firebase CrashlyticsCrash diagnosticsCrash stack traces, device state, app version

All Firebase data is collected pseudonymously and does not include direct identifiers. Firebase does not collect precise GPS location. Users can limit analytics data collection by adjusting device-level privacy settings (e.g., disabling ad personalization or resetting Advertising ID), or by discontinuing use of the app.

Firebase privacy information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Google Play Data Safety

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, the following data types may be collected or shared by our apps or their integrated SDKs:

Device or other IDs App activity Crash logs Diagnostics Ads data

Data is used for: App functionality · Analytics · Advertising or marketing · Fraud prevention & security

We do not collect precise location, financial information, health data, contacts, photos, or messages.

Data is encrypted in transit. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us (see Contact section).

WebView & External Content

Some of our apps use Android WebView to display content or tools. Where content is loaded locally (on-device), no data is transmitted anywhere. ZyroWorx does not collect, intercept, or store any data from WebView content. If a WebView loads any external URL, that external website operates under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party websites accessed through our apps.

GDPR – Lawful Basis for Processing

For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process data under the following lawful bases as defined by the GDPR:

  • Consent – Personalized advertising data is processed only where you have given explicit consent via the CMP.
  • Legitimate Interests – Non-personal analytics and crash diagnostics are processed to improve app stability and performance, where this does not override your rights.
  • Legal Obligation – We may process or retain data as required by applicable law or regulatory authority.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. Contact us at contact@zyroworx.com to exercise these rights.

App Permissions

Our apps request only permissions necessary for their core functionality. Common permissions used include:

  • INTERNET – Required to load ads and send analytics/crash data via AdMob and Firebase.
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – Allows AdMob to check network availability before loading ads.
  • Storage access – On Android 9 and below, READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE may be requested for file operations. On Android 10+, scoped storage is used (no broad storage permission required). On Android 13+, granular media permissions (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO) are used where applicable. Storage access is only requested in apps that explicitly handle files (e.g., PDF tools), solely for user-initiated operations.

We do not request sensitive permissions (e.g., location, contacts, microphone, camera) unless explicitly required by a specific app feature, in which case it will be disclosed in that app's individual listing.

Security Practices

  • All data transmitted by AdMob and Firebase SDKs is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS.
  • We use only official, up-to-date Google SDK releases which undergo Google's own security review.
  • We do not operate any backend servers that store user data.
  • App signing keys are managed securely via Google Play App Signing.

While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data processed by third-party SDKs.

International Data Transfers

Data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase may be transferred to and processed on Google's servers located in the United States or other countries outside your country of residence.

Google complies with applicable data transfer frameworks, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers from the EEA/UK. For details, see Google's Data Processing Terms.

Your Rights & Choices

  • Opt out of personalized ads: Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+) or opt out of ad personalization.
  • EEA/UK users: Withdraw consent at any time via the in-app consent screen (re-accessible from Settings or first launch).
  • Data deletion: Contact us to request deletion of any data associated with your app instance ID.
  • Access & portability: Contact us for information about data held by our third-party partners on your behalf.
  • Supervisory authority: EEA/UK users have the right to lodge a complaint with their national Data Protection Authority (DPA) if they believe their data rights have been violated.

Do Not Track & Tracking Signals

Our apps do not respond to browser or system-level "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, as no industry standard for such signals currently applies to mobile applications.

However, you retain full control over ad tracking via your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+), or by withdrawing consent via the in-app consent screen (EEA/UK/CH users).

Automated Decision-Making & Profiling

We do not perform any automated decision-making or profiling of users that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Our apps are tools that process inputs you provide locally on your device to generate outputs — no automated decisions are made about you as an individual.

Ad targeting by Google AdMob may involve automated processing by Google. This is governed by Google's own policies and consent framework, not by ZyroWorx.

Data Retention

We do not retain personal data on our own servers.

Data retained by third-party services is governed by their own retention policies:

  • Firebase Analytics: 14 months (default, configurable by user)
  • Firebase Crashlytics: 90 days
  • AdMob: Per Google's data retention schedule

California & US State Privacy (CCPA / VCDPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal data. No opt-out action is required.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Similar rights apply to residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and other US states with applicable privacy laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@zyroworx.com. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

India – DPDP Act 2023 & Grievance Officer

ZyroWorx is an Indian developer and is subject to India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. As a Data Fiduciary under this Act, we are committed to:

  • Processing personal data only for specified, lawful purposes with user consent where required
  • Implementing reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data
  • Not retaining personal data beyond the period necessary for the stated purpose
  • Notifying users and the Data Protection Board of India in the event of a data breach that is likely to affect users

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the DPDP Act, a Grievance Officer has been designated to address data-related complaints:

Grievance Officer: ZyroWorx (Developer)  ·  contact@zyroworx.com

Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days of receipt.

EU / UK Representative & DPO

ZyroWorx is a small independent developer based in India. Under GDPR Article 27, non-EU controllers that process EU personal data are generally required to appoint an EU representative. As a micro/small-scale developer whose data processing is neither large-scale nor systematic, we currently rely on our data processors — Google (AdMob and Firebase) — who maintain their own EU representation and GDPR compliance infrastructure on our behalf.

We do not appoint a formal Data Protection Officer (DPO) as we are not required to do so under GDPR Article 37 (processing is not large-scale, not systematic monitoring, and does not involve special category data).

For any GDPR-related enquiries, contact: contact@zyroworx.com. EEA/UK users may also contact their national Data Protection Authority (DPA) directly.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If you believe a child has provided data through our app, please contact us immediately so we can take corrective action.

Our apps are configured in AdMob as "Not child-directed" in compliance with COPPA and Google Play Families Policy.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice or on our website.

Continued use of our apps after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
